- Devotional:
“Jesus said, ‘This is how you should pray:Father, may your name be kept holy. May your kingdom come soon. Give us each day the food we need.’”Luke 11: 2-3It’s real, this thing in our heads making us question: How much longer? And it’s normal that we worry about our economy, maybe it happened to you, or you have seen it happening to a friend or neighbor... Work is not stable, hours and dollars are not as many as they used to be. And in the middle of it all, Jesus’ prayer invites us to trust: “Give us each day the food we need...” Not our weekly or monthly portion, God is inviting us to trust daily, to depend on Him, each day. Today, take a moment to give thanks for His provision, and rest knowing we can trust Him, every day.
